A stunning kimono with a very unusual fabric used - it is a muted metallic gold silk that has a beautiful pattern of roses on a lattice backdrop. It is a chic combination of blacks and that muted gold that has a soft, rich sheen. This silk covers the upper half of the kimono and then it has a black base and interior. What I believe to be the maker's stamps are done in a row across the interior back. The work is very fine and is just so unusual. You can wrap these and belt them so that you are able to wear it as a dress or use it as a light evening coat. They really are versatile and a great way to work a bit of vintage into your wardrobe.
