This is a large lustrous Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl chrysanthemum flower brooch.

The pearls are highly lustrous and measure 6.75-7.00mm and have bright rosy pink overtones.

It is made of solid sterling silver and has a brushed diamond dust texture. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. It measures 2 1/8 inches long. It has loops on the back to be worn as an obidome or kimono belt ornament. From Japan, 1950's-1980's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
