To create this one of a kind jacket we started with a vintage white hand stitched Matlasse quilt and made it into a kimono collar Haori style jacket with front patch pockets.  We then added an antique quilt patch from the 1800s to the back of the jacket.  Wanting to make this more unique we sent it to our friends who are natural dyers and had them dip dye it to create an Ombre affect of natural walnut dye graduating it down to indigo dye.  We absolutely love how it turned out! Such a special piece!
